Blue Bayou Lodge is a charter operation that not only puts clients on huge numbers of billfish each year, but also provides a personalized all-inclusive experience at a reasonable cost.
Captain Chris Starrs is the owner and primary captain for Blue Bayou. The Michigan native moved to Guatemala more than 15 years ago and is seriously as dialed into the fishery as anyone. His flagship vessel is Sails Call, a 35’ Betram that is perfectly suited for Guatemalan billfishing. Sales Pitch is a 28’ Albemarle or Carolina Classic that Capt. Starrs cut his teeth on and raises fish like no other.
PREMIUM HEAVY-WEIGHT FABRIC
We use pre-shrunk 6.0 ounce 100% US cotton (except for heather gray which is a 90/10 blend) with a traditional fit. These shirts are built to last.
SOFT RING-SPUN COTTON
We use a premium ring-spun US cotton that is softer, more durable and longer lasting than regular cotton shirts.
LONG-LASTING PRINTED DESIGN
Our shirts are printed in the USA with large full color artwork on the back, and smaller charter logo on the front left chest. We use simulated process screen printing for a softer feel… without the sticky “iron-on” printing you’ll find on a lower quality t-shirt.

Each shirt comes with a colorful postcard that tells you the story behind the charter service or fishing lodge.
